Found a gift idea in a shop’s app or your browser? Tap Share and pick GiftCrew. The Android app reads the product page on your phone, like the browser extension, fills in the name, details and link, and lets you pick the photos. Change anything you like, and it’s on your wishlist.

How it works

From a product you’re looking at to a finished wishlist item.

  1. Step 1

    Tap Share on a product

    In a shop’s app, your browser or anywhere else that shares a link to a product.

  2. Step 2

    Pick GiftCrew

    GiftCrew reads the product page on your phone and opens Add to Wishlist with the name, details and link filled in.

  3. Step 3

    Pick the photos and add it

    Choose up to two of the page’s photos, change anything you like, then tap Add to wishlist. Nothing is added until you do.

What to expect

How sharing handles real shops and real lists.

  • You check it first

    Sharing opens a filled-in form, not a finished item. Everything stays editable until you tap Add to wishlist.

  • Works where others don’t

    The page is read on your phone, as a browser sees it, so shops that turn away automated reading fill in too.

  • From any app

    Shop apps, browsers and anything else with a Share button that shares a product link.

  • Pick the photos

    Tap the page’s photos to choose up to two. The first you pick is the main one, or upload your own.

  • Choose the wishlist

    With several wishlists on Pro, pick which one it goes on before you add it.

  • Signed out? No problem

    Sign in when GiftCrew asks, and the product you shared is waiting on the form afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

Can I share products to GiftCrew on iPhone?

Not yet. Apple doesn’t let web apps appear in the iPhone share sheet. Copy the product link instead and paste it on Add to Wishlist: GiftCrew fills in the name, description and photos the same way.

Why don’t I see GiftCrew when I tap Share?

Install the GiftCrew Android app from Google Play, or update it to version 1.2.0 or later. Android may list GiftCrew further along the share sheet, so scroll the row of apps or tap More.

Is the product added straight away?

No. GiftCrew opens Add to Wishlist with the details filled in, so you can pick the photos, change the name and description, and choose a wishlist before you tap Add to wishlist.

What if the shop blocks GiftCrew from reading the page?

That rarely stops it: the Android app reads the page on your phone, the way a browser does, so those shops fill in too. When the page can’t be read at all, you still get the link and a name from what you shared, and add photos yourself.

Does sharing to GiftCrew cost anything?

No. Sharing to GiftCrew is free, like adding from a link and the browser extension.
